Do you accept skull commissions?

Yes! I do accept commissions for custom hand-painted skulls. Commissions are accepted on a first come, first served basis and I am typically booked 3-4 months out. I can either provide the skull or I can paint a skull you provide. If you provide the skull, it must be cleaned and bleached. The commission price varies and is based on factors including skull type, and how specific you’d like your commission design to be. If you have a design in mind beyond a requested color scheme, this will be considered in your quote. Please contact me for more details!

How do you source your skulls?

At this point, I source skulls myself by roaming National Forest and BLM lands of the West. I take this process very seriously and do NOT source any skulls illegally. Part of my passion is sharing with my customers each skull’s journey and special details unique to that piece that tells its story.

Are your skulls weatherproof?

No, my skulls are not weatherproof and they are for indoor installation only.

Where can I buy your art?

In addition to my website, you can check out my art in-person at Midnight Lunch Gallery & Boutique in downtown Jackson, and ArtShopJH in Moose, next to Dornan’s and right near the entrance to Grand Teton National Park.

What is your connection to “Chalk Art?”

My artistic journey originated as Chalk Art! Many of my first pieces were chalk on black Sintra board or slate. If you see some of my past works and wonder about the striking, black background, this is why! This inspiration came from many years working in the creative event planning space, 2013-2019. Since then, I’ve transitioned to acrylic and oil paints, as well as more vibrant palettes.
