This cow elk skull was harvested in the Elk Refuge during fall of 2018 by a dear friend. It has been cleaned by hand and with care and precision by me. Acrylic on bone with a matte finish. There is an area of imperfection on the right lower nose. Each skull is unique in terms of imperfections and tells it’s own unique story in relation to natural elements such as sun, water and the animal’s history. It’s my hope to share as much of the story as possible with my customers.
