This cow elk skull was found in the rolling, red desert hills of Dubois, Wyoming. It was a bleached white relic sitting in red sand and surrounded by sagebrush. I cleaned it by hand and with care and precision. Acrylic on bone with a matte finish. This skull does not have any obvious imperfections, which is very special and rare. Each skull is unique in terms of imperfections and tells it’s own unique story in relation to natural elements such as sun, water and the animal’s history. It’s my hope to share as much of the story as possible with my customers.
